And.....Action!...........Cut!

Well folks, as I like to say....It's a Wrap! This week I shot
my scenes for the film "King of California". It was awesome, awesome, awesome.

For those of you who don't know or might be curious. The
saying is true. The hard work is getting the part. After
that....it's fun. You have opportunities to network, make
new friends, etc. You have people waiting on you hand and
foot. The food is GREAT! It must be awesome to be a series
regular or working on films regularly. Sigh. God Willing, that'll
be me one day! Still, no complaints here...I'm truly Blessed!

Having said all that about it being fun, you STILL have to do
your thing. It is a JOB! For example, there was an actor
(sorry, I can't go there.....let's just say he was the 3rd Lead
of the film!) who had to be replaced. OUCH! Are you kidding
me?! Do you know how much money that will cost the film?
With having to reshoot all the scenes that he was already in?

The ONLY reason I mention that is to use it as a lesson for
myself and my fellow actors. Don't get too cocky people. It's
still a job! In MY OPINION, as an Actor, I see it as a privelege
to do this line of work...and get paid for it. (I still don't get
how some actors don't sign autographs, complain about the
fans, not having privacy, yada, yada, yada.) This is the
BUSINESS you are in. Know that! Again, the point here folks
is to stay focused, have fun, enjoy the moment.....but stay focused.

(My glass half-full moment would have to be: Who knows,
they may have to call me back to re-shoot the scenes that
I did with the actor who was replaced. No complaints here!)

Well that's it for now. On to the next one! Please keep me in your prayers! Tks.
