CALLBACK/Feature Film Audition: "Midnight Meat Train” @ Nayor Battino/Wagner Casting
------
Okay, so my audition was for the director & one of the producers of the film. I was being taped and read with the casting director from yesterday.

For some reason I didn't feel as instense as I did yesterday. To be honest with you, I think I'm my own worst critic. As I think back on my actual performance.....it was pretty damn good.

I'm really enjoying having these opportunities to perform & show what I can do to many of these Hollywood Big Wigs! A year ago when I was new to LA, I could never have imagined some of the HUGE auditions I have been going on.

Unfortunely, it seems like I've lost a few roles to "names" lately too.....but it's cool. I know my turn is right around the corner. One day I'll be the name and other new, hungry and focused actors will probably be cursing me out. Besides, maybe this is all part of God's plan. In fact, I'm sure that's the case. This time off from working is allowing me to fine tune my acting. Personally,
I feel that my acting instrument is at an all-time high right now.
My work in Ivana's class has been very strong (of course I also
have to thank my awesome scene partners) and my workshop performances have allowed me to impress a number of casting directors (also, thanks again to my scene partners). Truth is, everything happens for a reason. As I said, my turn is coming and when it does....I'LL BE READY!!!

Back to the audition: I left feeling pretty good and knowing that
I did the best that I could. We'll see what happens. Now it's in God's Hands and I'm off to the next one. Please keep me in your prayers.
