Angel vs.The FANTASTIC..I mean HOSPITAL 4!

I had a GREAT time shooting "Scrubs". Everyone on the set was awesome to work with. Zach Braff is the coolest cat out there and the scenes were funny as hell. I play a mechanic who is harrased by "JD" (Zack Braff) and the "Hospital Four". Hilarious!

I'm not sure when the episode will air but it should be sometime in Jan or Feb...I'm guessing. As soon as I hear something and it's closer to the date.....you'll know.

What was an added gift in shooting the show was that I also had the opportunity to work with a friend of my mine (Wayne Nickel) who I often see at workshops. We literally had dressing rooms right next to each other. Ha! I mean as big as Hollywood is...with all the talented actors out here, what are the chances that I get to work with a friend on a prime time show on a major network?! I guess it is quite possible....but I don't see/hear it happen often. In my mind....not a coincidence people. I still don't know what the reason is....but there is one. Maybe some of our conversations might affect me some day in the future....maybe he'll be affected somehow. Who knows...I just know that I had an AWESOME time and it was fun to share it with a friend.

As always, I want to thank all of you for all the love, support and prayers you send me. I sincerely appreciate it and I send even more back to you and yours. Take care and God Bless.

Scrub-a-dub-dub!!!

Just wanted to share the good news that I booked a small role on "Scrubs". YES! It's a pretty funny role and I shoot next week!

I'm VERY excited about being on the show (It has always been one of my favorites) and being that this is the show's final season makes it even more special to me.

Since we'll be shooting scenes from a completed script (ie. unchanged version), they asked if I would be available to shoot the same scenes again some time next year when/if the strike is over. (Just in case the jokes don't play and they need to be re-written/re-shot.) So I'm guaranteed at least two days even if we only shoot it once. Cool.

That's it for now. Thanks again for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers and I wish you all a wonderful, safe and Happy Thanksgiving! Take care and God Bless.

The third time's a......oh, never mind!

TV Audition/PRODUCER'S SESSION!!!: "Eli Stone” @ UDK Casting
------
If you recall from a previous blog, I was pinned for another role on a previous episode. Even though I was released from being pinned...they called me the following week for this one. Straight to producers this time. Yes! That previous role was a co-star and this one was a guest star. Nice.

This audition went great! I felt really conifident about my choices. I was prepared and off-book and I did the best I could. The producers who were at the session were very impressed and complimented me on a "great performance". I'll take it! At the end of the day, that's all I can do. After that it's in God's Hands.

Since I'm catching up a week after the audition, it's clear that Daddy didn't book this gig. Still, I feel REALLY excited about being called in for this show regularly now. This was my third audition for this show in two weeks. And hopefully the producers will be remember me in the future.

Now it's back to work on the next one! Please keep me in your prayers.

If you love my choices..you'll love me..right?

Feature Film Audition: "Get Smart” @ Roger Mussenden Casting
------
This role was pretty funny. It's a very small role but it will certainly get lots of laughs in this huge feature starring Steve Carrell. I would love to book this one!

I felt great about the audition and the associate was outstanding. I met her before at a workshop. I love it when casting directors put the actors in a position to win. By that I mean, there was lighting, I was wired for sound, she asked if I wanted to rehearse the lines for the first take, etc. That's what I'm talking about! It may take a minute or two longer for them to get the actors in and out of the room....but it certainly makes me feel like it's a collaborative effort and I feel I'm at my best. Kind of like being on set. Still, you know me...I can totally deal with the "stick and move" auditions too...but this audition was right on time.

The associate was cracking up on my performance and told me she hadn't seen anyone make the choices that I made. Nice. Since it's a movie...who knows when they'll cast the role. Could be tomorrow or up to a month from now. Again, I felt great about my performance and I'll leave it in God's Hands. We'll see. Oh, and this was my first time in this office too. Yeah, I'll take that!

You gotta believe...............

TV Audition: "CSI” @ UDK Casting
------
Had a GREAT audition for this role. It was for a huge guest star and I felt really strong about my choices and my audition. As I always say: if I can walk away from any audition knowing that 1) I was well prepared, 2) I made strong choices that seperate me from the pack and 3) I did my best......that's all you can ask for boys and girls. After all that, it's in God's Hands. That's how I felt about this one.

I sure would LOVE to book this one. But you know me, I can't dwell on it. It's on to the next one. I'll wait to hear from them on Monday or Tuesday that I booked it...right?! Smile.

Sounds cocky doesn't it. Not trying to be cocky though. I just feel that if you can't see yourself succeeding....then what's the point? If you can't envision yourself as someone who is worthy of it.....then what are we talking about here? WE HAVE TO BELIEVE IN OURSELVES PEOPLE! Don't train for the marathon if you don't plan on running in it. And don't run the marathon if you don't think you have a chance to win. As the football coach Bill Parcells used to say to his football players: "That's why you lift all those weights!"

Develop a game plan, implement the game plan, pray (don't forget that one), learn from the results of your game plan, modify your game plan accordingly....then repeat. You can do it!....And Home Depot can help. (Ha! Sorry, couldn't resist that one.)

That's it for now. Please keep me in your prayers.
