What a day.....What a week!
Now THIS is what I call a GREAT week! Monday & Tuesday I had auditions for two pilots. Tuesday (before the audtion...I did some voice-over work on a feature film starring Ving Rhames) Wednesday was my Birthday and I had an awesome commercial callback audition. Thursday I did voice-over work on a awesome George Clooney/Brad Pitt movie (yeah, my old scene partners. It's funny that I can actually say that...and it's true. smile. Wish I was working with them again...soon enough, I'm sure...but I digress.) and I got the word that I booked the commercial! YES! Friday I shot my remaining scenes on "Montana Amazon".
Not to mention, that I'm still rehearsing my scenes for my Master Class at The Studio, doing drop-offs, attending workshops, working on my book, and when I can fit some time in I'll do some consulting. Whew!
I must say I had a great time shooting with my on-screen pregnant wife. The director Deborah Brock was really nice and fun to work with. The cast and crew were fantastic. What was also REALLY nice about today's shoot...it was all about my wife and I as we're driving to the hospital. We pass by a helpless grandma (Olympia Dukakis)...or so we think, and decide to pull over. Maybe not such a good idea. Smile.
OH, so I forgot to mention. When we wrapped I had to make a dash from the set and speed like a madman to Universal Studios for my Dunkin Donuts fitting. Only problem...we're in ANTELOPE VALLEY! I'm talking almost two hours away. But as I said yesterday..I never doubted everything would work out. The producer of the movie picked us up and drove us back. He knew I was trying to make my fitting and was flying through traffic all the way to get me back on time. And yes, I made my fitting and everything worked out perfectly. Thank You God....but I never doubted You had it all under control anyway. I'm still not sure if I'm shooting on Tuesday and/or Wednesday. Either way I'll be there! Smile.
As you can see....it's been a busy week...And I'm LOVING IT! That's it for now. Thanks for taking the ride with me. We'll see what next week brings! In the meantime, please keep me in your prayers.
