Last minute.....no problem!
TV Audition: "CSI:Miami” @ Nan Dutton Casting
------
This was one of those last minute auditions. I got the call around noon so I spent the time that I had working on it. You would have been proud of me...I worked it people.
As I've mentioned before, this is one of those offices that has a lot of love for me (This is the same office that had me on "Watch and Advise" for that Guest Lead back in August.)...so I already feel like I'm at an advantage. Meaning that I'm not walking in the door with a whole lot of baggage (nerves, fear, self-doubt, etc.). Preparation, Strong Choices and Confidence (along with Prayer...of course. smile.) is where I'm at. And yes, it feels good walking in the door with that frame of mind.
The audition went really well. The CD said my performance was "Perfect!" and that's all you can ask for. Since I'm writing this blog entry a week or so later, it's safe to say that I didn't book it. Sniffle, sniffle. That's cool. I honestly don't feel bad since I know it's more about a look than my performance. I'll get'em next time.

YES!!! So when do we start?!
Today I got the call from my agent that I BOOKED that role on the film "Montana Amazon, The Adventures Of The Dunderheads". (Yeah, I don't know what it means either! Smile.) YES!!! It stars Oscar nominee Haley Joel Osment and Oscar winner Olympia Dukakis.
If you recall, the audition was last week and it was pretty funny. I play a nervous husband who is driving his pregnant wife to the delivery room.....and of course mayhem ensues. I'm shooting a three days next week and I'm really excited. I also found out my "audition wife" isn't going to play my wife. Awww. Sniffle, sniffle. But I was informed that she's still in the movie and booked another role instead. Yay! Everyone's happy! Smile.
That's it for now. Just wanted to share the great news. I truly have to thank God for getting me to this place mentally and spiritually. Although, I'll admit everything is not perfect in my life right now. (I've been having to deal with a whole lot of personal drama lately.) Still, I'm Blessed to be here and able to deal with it. It'll all work out in the end. I truly believe that. In the meantime, thanks again to all of you for continuing to support, root and pray for me. I sincerely appreciate it.

Let's sit down at the table and discuss this!
I was invited to attend the "Vacancy 2" table read being held today at the production office. I went and had a great time running lines with the rest of the cast and the director. Everyone involved in the project seems like they'll be very cool to work with. This story is a trip! In a spooky, horror kind of way. Smile. I'm definitely looking forward to working on this one. Please keep me in your prayers. Thanks.

Audition: "Jack Links" @ Pamela Starks Casting
------
This was a real fun audition. I find the "Jack Links" Beef Jerky spots hilarious and I had a great time. Didn't book the gig....but I was in the room! Right?! Right!! We'll get'em next time.

Gather round and let me ask you something;
Do you like Horror movies? Do like to hear painful, desperate screams in the dark from the room next door? Do you like to see blood, murder and mayhem all around? Maybe you would like to see things from the point of view of a madman? Yes? I can make that pain go away. I can take all your pain away for good. MUUUUAAAAHHAAAHHAAHHAA!(madman laugh) Okay I'm done. Whew, ummm, that was pretty creepy. (Where do I get this stuff?)
Just wanted to set the tone for the news that I BOOKED the role on "Vacancy 2"! YAY! I'm so happy to get the word and wanted to share the news with all of you! I'm playing the role of the police officer that I wrote about last week. This will be my first Horror film and I must say I'm a big fan of the genre. Should be lots of fun....don't ya think?!
That's it for now. Thanks so much for continuing to keep me in your thoughts and prayers. I sincerely appreciate it.
Take care....and be afraid....be VERY AFRAID! MUUUUAAAAHHAAAHHAAHHAA!

Looks good, feels good.....we'll see!
Feature Film Audition: "Montana Amazon, The Adventures Of The Dunderheads” @ Ronnie Yeskel Casting

Feature Film Audition: "Spoken Word”
@ Pagano/Manwiller Casting
------
Two big auditions today! For the first one, my manager called to say that a fellow client of hers and I would be paired up as husband and wife and audition for "Montana Amazon" together. Cool. This was my first time in this office and I was very excited about the opportunity.
We both made it to the audition a little early, ran lines and tried to create some chemistry with each other before heading in. When we were called in, we did our thing and I felt it went really well. The whole room was cracking up from the choices that we came up with and we walked away feeling great about our audition.
Next was another first-time visit. This time it was for a lead role in a film that shoots in New Mexico. I would LOVE to book this one too! Oh, and did I mention the CD is the same CD that casts "24". One of my favorite shows and an office I've been trying to get into since I've moved out here. Very exciting indeed!
The audition went pretty well. I felt strong about my choices and the CD complimented me on my work. We'll see! It's in God's Hands now. In the meantime, please keep me in your prayers. Thank you.

What a lovely day!
TV MOW Audition: "Street Warrior” @ LLP Casting
------
This audition went great. It was for a pretty big role and I'll have you know I really worked hard on it. (As if that's something you've never heard from me before..but I digress.)
I was prepared, made strong choices and did the best I could at the audition. The casting associates that read with me and taped the audition were awesome and said my performance was GREAT! We'll see. You know the deal...it's in God's Hands now.
Afterwards, I met up with my scene partner to rehearse for our scene in class later that evening. Class and our scene went really well.
Yep, today was a good day!

Oh well.....maybe next time!
Doesn't look like I booked "Shark". Sniffle, sniffle. It's cool though (sniffle), we'll get them next time right?! Sniffle.
Glass half full moment - It was my first callback for 2008! It's an office that has booked me before too. It's all good! As I've said before, at least it's cool knowing my performance was strong and solid. If they did pick someone else (sometimes roles get written out....and obviously sometimes they simply cast someone else) it wasn't because yours truly was weak.
That's it for now. In the meantime, please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you. A.
